Summit is actively engaged in DEI work, collaborating to push individual and whole school growth towards equitable educational practices and inclusive mindset.
Current works include: continued DEI trainings, creation of student groups (GSA, Affinity Groups, etc.), and Multicultural Events.

Summit Learning Charter is committed to equity to ensure student success, staff retention, and organizational success. Equity acknowledges that we do not all start from the same place and must make adjustments to restore imbalances. Equity entails identifying needs and properly allocating resources that will overcome intentional and unintentional barriers arising from bias or systemic structures.

Included on our Student Services site and in our Monthly Newsletter, these slides (created by Staff and Students) give students and families a general overview of that month’s cultural recognition.
