Yes. We provide everything students need for their studies, including a school-issued laptop. Families only need to ensure a reliable internet connection at home.

Can I customize the curriculum for my child in the EOP?

Yes. One of the strengths of the Elementary Options Program is its flexibility. Within the program guidelines, families can choose curriculum options that best fit their child's learning style and needs.

Are there enrichment options for Elementary Options Program students?

Yes. The Elementary Options Program offers a range of online and in-person enrichment options, as well as field trips. Details can be found in the handbook or by contacting our team.

For Virtual Academy Students (6-12)

The Virtual Academy program blends the best virtual curriculum with a comprehensive transition to college. The resources here are all about supporting independent learners on their unique educational journey!

Yes, the Virtual Academy blends asynchronous learning with live virtual sessions to provide a well-rounded educational experience.

What support is available for Virtual Academy students?

Students have access to academic advisors, virtual office hours, and support resources to ensure they stay on track.

Can students participate in in-person activities?

Yes! We offer enrichment opportunities on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our campus in Eagle Creek, including science labs, PE classes, study halls, and more, giving students the chance to connect beyond the virtual classroom.

Are Summit Learning Charter students required to complete state testing?

Yes. All public schools are required to administer state assessments for students in grades 3-8 and 11.

For Early College Students (10-12)

Our Summit Early College advisors are pros at building strong connections and guiding students in the classroom. But we’ve also got extra resources to help you feel ready and confident as you take the leap to college!

No. Tuition for college courses is covered by the program, along with a $200 stipend per term for textbooks.

What kind of support is available for Early College Program students?

Summit Early College advisors are available to help with course selection, college applications, and navigating the dual-enrollment process.

Can students still participate in high school activities while in the program?

Yes, students can balance college coursework with extracurricular activities and events at their high school.
