The Early College Department strongly recommends that every student take both the PSAT as a 10th grader, and the SAT as an 11th grader. The PSAT is designed to prepare a student to take the SAT as an 11th grader.
The majority of colleges and universities require SAT scores as part of their admissions process. Early College students interested in taking the PSAT or the SAT can register for the assessment through College Board. College Board offers many test prep modules through their website. College Board administers, proctors and delivers scores to colleges and universities as instructed by the student. Summit Learning Charter is not a test administration site, but we are happy to help you coordinate your scores for post-secondary transitions into college.
Students interested in registering for the PSAT or the SAT should work directly with their Summit advisor as students will need Summit’s CEEB code to register for the exam.
