Lego Club is an exciting opportunity to learn about computer programming and engineering while playing with Legos. There are two different clubs for students.
Our Junior Lego Club caters to students between the ages of 6 and 9. Though less intensive as far as robotics, students at this age will work in teams to design and build a Lego creation to enter into a Junior FLL competition in March.
Our Lego Robotics Club teaches students to work in teams to design, build, and program EV3 robots to perform a variety of tasks. Each winter, students will have an opportunity to test their robotics skills in a competition with other teams from around the state and potentially advance to other competitions.
Starting in January of their 4th grade year students may transition from Junior Lego Club to our Lego Robotics Club. There is no upper age limit for our club, but you cannot participate in an official FIRST LEGO League event in a year that you turn 15 after the release of the yearly challenge in August.
