If you are planning on participating in the graduation ceremony, please Email Lyn Woodruff with the following information by May 20th:

Number of guests you are anticipating will attend the ceremony.
Your legal name as it should appear on the diploma/program.
Confirmation that you have ordered your cap/gown/tassel through Jostens.
Students are responsible for ordering and paying for their own cap/gown/tassel (see detail below*).

Check with your advisor NOW regarding any final details that you may need to take care of to ensure you are on track for graduation.

CAP AND GOWN:

The FINAL deadline for ordering your cap and gown is March 18th!

Cost is $35 (this includes shipping to the Eagle Creek office). The order form is posted on our graduation tab and payment must be made directly to Jostens with this form (not our office).

*Jostens will send the cap, gown and tassel sets directly to the school office. You may pick them up at the school office after June 1st, between 8 am and 3 pm. Any cap and gowns not picked up in advance will be brought to the church on the day of graduation, however, we recommend you pick them up ahead of time to press them, etc. If you are interested in ordering other items through Jostens, such as announcements, class rings, etc., you are welcome to do so at your own expense.

SENIOR VIDEO:

A senior video will be made to show at our graduation ceremony. Please e-mail three to six photos of you from over the years to Jason Deardorff by May 20th. Photos of you as a baby, a silly toddler, or a young adult are all welcome. Please be sure to have your pictures in JPEG format. You need to name each file with YOUR NAME in it. For example, don’t e-mail five pictures to Mr. Deardorff with file names like “Canon520a”, “Nikonbg820”, etc. Instead, label them “JaneSmith1”, “JaneSmith2”, etc. This will ensure that each picture is used in the video and not lost in cyberspace. 🙂

Include your favorite quote, if you have one, as well as any song suggestions. This will be included in the video.

YOU MUST E-MAIL YOUR PHOTOS to jdeardorff@summitlc.org. Photos sent after Friday, May 20th will not be used in the video. We reserve the right to edit or omit any submissions.

GRADUATION DAY:

Graduates participating in the ceremony need to arrive at the Rolling Hills Church by 5pm on June 14th to receive their cap and gown (if it hasn’t been picked up in advance at the office), final instructions for the program, class photo and get lined up for the procession. Please do not be late.

  • A photo of the entire class will be taken at 5:45pm
  • From 6 – 6:30pm gradates will be lined up and given final instructions for the procession.
  • There will be a small reception with cookies and punch for all the graduates and their families after the ceremony.
  • All official diplomas will be mailed out after the ceremony to ensure their safety.
  • (A $25.00 fee will be charged for any replacement diplomas)
